Stansted Airport’s expansion plan has been delayed by last week’s local elections, which saw the Conservatives swept from power on Uttlesford District Council.
Stansted Airport’s owners have submitted a planning application to Uttlesford to raise the passenger cap from 35 to 43 million passengers per annum.
